The exhibition will be held on the occasion of fifth anniversary of the establishment of the Shirin Gallery.
The exhibition will be held to “symbolically imply the unity among Tehran’s galleries” as is mentioned in a press release.
The gallery is located at 145 North Salimi St., off Andarzgu Blvd. in the Farmanieh neighborhood.
Azadi Tower to host tazieh performances
TEHRAN -- Azadi Tower open-air area will host tazieh performances, Iranian passion plays performed in the street during the mourning period of Muharram from December 7 to 17.
Troupes from different Iranian cities will have performances at the venue and Kurosh Zarei will also perform his play “The Passengers of Kufa” from December 18 at the main hall of the tower.
The performances will be held on the occasion of Muhrram, the lunar month that marks the anniversary of the martyrdom of Imam Hussein (AS) and a number of his followers on the tenth day of the month (Ashura).
