Actor Mahmud Banafshekhah dies at 68

TEHRAN, April 7 (MNA) -- Actor Mahmud Banafshekhah died of a heart attack at his residence in Tehran on Wednesday. He was 68.

 

 

He acted in several films including Bahram Beizaii’s “Killing Mad Dogs”, Rambod Javan’s recent film “Adam’s Son, Eve’s Daughter”, and Ali Sajjadi-Hosseini’s “Old Men’s School”.

 

He has also acted in many TV series including Kiaunush Ayyari’s “Qarib’s Life” and Mehdi Fakhimzadeh’s “The Imamate of Love”.

 

He began his acting career in 1954 with a part in Mahin Oskuii’s drama “In Depth” after attending acting courses at the Anahita Academy of Arts.

 

The funeral procession will be held on April 10 opposite the House of Cinema.
