Dozens of short films have participated in New York one-day festival. According to the Mehr News Agency, several Iranian films and the latest cartoons of the Iranian cinema have also taken part in the festival.
Iranian Animation Festival has been earlier held in George Mason University, Washington State, at Denver Film Society, and in Boston city, all warmly welcomed by filmgoers and critics alike.
The festival is expected to be held later at Minneapolis Film Society and Colombia College in the city of Chicago, Illinois.
The closing ceremony of the festival will take place at Colombia College, Chicago. The jury will announce final decisions then.
