Hezbollah to attack Tel Aviv in response to Afif martyrdom

TEHRAN, Nov. 15 (MNA) – Naim Qassem, leader of Hezbollah in Lebanon has said that "For the assassination of Mohammad Afif, the Israeli regime attacked the heart of Beirut and must await its response in the heart of Tel Aviv."

Chief of Hezbollah resistance movement Sheikh Naim Qassem delivered a televised speech on Wednesday during which he praised martyred Head of Executive Council of Hezbollah Hashem Safieddine.

Qassem also hailed "strategic vision" of Hezbollah media office chief recently martyred by Israel in Beirut.

"For the assassination of Mohammad Afif, the Israeli regime attacked the heart of Beirut and must await its response in the heart of Tel Aviv."

"Israel should expect that resistance response to aggression targets Tel Aviv," he further said, thanking all those who contribute to resistance in face of Israel-Lebanon aggression.

Hezbollah continues to support Gaza alongside Iraqi and Yemeni resistance, the Islamic Republic, according to the new Hezbollah chief.

Qassem went on to say that "Hundreds of Israelis were displaced as a result of drones and rockets by Lebanese resistance."

"Resistance fighters are confronting Israeli forces on all battlefields," continued Hezbollah chief.

"It is true that the Israeli strikes have been painful, yet Hezbollah has enough cadres who are formidable in might," Qassem said.

"The land is ours. Israeli occupiers cannot advance into our country," he stressed.

On the mediated negotiations on a ceasefire with the Zionist regime, Qassem said that, "We have negotiated on two conditions: a complete and comprehensive cessation of aggression and the preservation of Lebanese sovereignty."

Hezbollah had accepted Biden-Macron ceasefire proposal, yet the Israeli enemy assassinated the Secretary-General, he noted.

"We are prepared for a long battle. Now we are negotiating, but not under fire, because Israel is also under fire," the Hezbollah chief added.

"After two months of the Israeli all-out war on Lebanon, the Resistance showed a mythical steadfastness," he said.

"We will remain on the battlefield and fight no matter how much the cost increases; of course, the enemy's cost will also be high. When the enemy does not achieve its goals, it would mean that we have won," he continued.
