"A bus that was traveling from the city of Sucre, in the Bolivian department of Chuquisaca, to La Paz sped into a curve, which caused the accident," said Colonel Jose Luis Assaf, the department's head of transit.
Most of the injured were transferred to Potosi, the capital city of the Department of Potosi, for treatment, Xinhua reported.
