Taliban say 4 districts in Panjshir fallen to them so far

TEHRAN, Sep. 04 (MNA) – The Taliban claimed on Saturday that they have captured four districts in Panjshir province on Saturday and their forces are now advancing towards other districts in the province.

According to Bakhtar News Agency, the Taliban say that their forces captured Annaba and Khenj districts after overtaking Shetel and Paryan districts in the Province of Panjshir on Saturday.

Some Taliban sources in the province told Bakhtar that their forces are getting closer to Abshar governor office and will take that district very soon.

َThe security sources in Panjshir also told Bakhtar that the Taliban forces are fighting with opposition in Bazark district, the capital of Panjshir, claiming that the other side's forces are being killed or injured and they have started to surrender to the Taliban.
