"We pursue the strengthening of the combat capability of the Armed Forces and the upgrading of defense systems in the face of severe, semi-hard and soft threats," said Brigadier General Mohammad-Reza Gharaei Ashtiani on Sunday in a ceremony held for introducing him to the Ministry.
He also noted that strengthening the defense capability through new knowledge and innovations will be the priority in the Ministry of Defense.
