Iran offers condolences to Afghanistan over chopper crash

TEHRAN, Oct. 31 (MNA) – The Iranian Foreign Ministry has offered condolences to Afghanistan on the losses of lives in a helicopter crash.

The spokesman of Iranian Foreign Ministry Bahram Ghasemi on Saturday expressed regret over crash of a military helicopter in which the crew and several military and government officials were killed and offered condolences to the people and the government of Afghanistan on the incident and expressed sympathy with the families of the victims.

A military helicopter carrying nearly two dozen Afghans crashed on Wednesday in western Farah province, killing all the crew and the occupants, including the deputy commander for the region and local politicians.
