The awards ceremony and meetings for illustrators, poets, editors and authors will be held in the sideline section of the festival which runs until November 17.
Experienced and successful children’s literature editors, illustrators, poets, and authors are to be honored during the meetings.
The festival also features theater performances and film screenings for children.
Hossein Qandi, Fereydun Seddiqi, Hassan Ahmadi, Hassan Abedini, Shokuh Qasemniya, Alireza Hafezi, Ali Kashefi Khansari, Mostafa Rahmandust, Biyuk Maleki, Mohammad Purvahab, Asadollah Shabani, and Babak Niktalab are the jury members of the festival.
According to the IIDCYA Public Relations Office, a total of 1354 works are on display in four sections of the event.
Nafiseh Majidizadeh, Fatima Mashhadirostam, Maryam Hajiloo, Abbas Bakhshandeh, Erfan Nazar Ahari, Naser Keshavarz, Anahita Zendegi, Shadi Khoshkar, and several others have been nominated for prizes at the festival.
