Draft resolution against US submitted to UNSC

TEHRAN, Dec. 12 (MNA) – Some Arab states have been reported to have submitted as a draft resolution against US president Trump decision about al-Quds.

To undertake a concrete measure against Trump decision to move US embassy to al-Quds, on Monday, the representatives of some Arab countries have submitted a draft resolution to the UN Security Council and General Assembly calling for abolition of the decision, Iran’s official news agency IRNA reported on Tuesday.

The same source recounted that the Permanent Representative of Iraq to the United Nations, Mohammad Hussein Ali Bahr Aluloom, proposed forming an international movement against the US move and its consequences for international peace and security.

American President Donald Trump recognized Jerusalem as “Israeli regime’s” capital on Wednesday, December 6, and announced plans to relocate the US Embassy there.
