'Zarif, Tillerson had no meeting other than 5+1 in NY'

In a statement on Wednesday, Iran’s Foreign Ministry Spokesman Bahram Ghasemi reaffirmed that Iranian FM and hisAmerican counterpart held no meeting outside the P5+1 foreign ministerial session in New York.

Ghasemi made the comment in response to remarks by his US counterpart who had spoken of extensive talks between Zarifand Tillerson in New York.

“As we have already said, during Mr. Zarif’s recent trip to New York, there was no meeting between the two officials except for the foreign ministerial session of the P5+1 Group on the sidelines of the [UN] General Assembly [meeting],” he said.
