‘Advantage’ to vie at Germany’s Leipzig Festival

TEHRAN, Oct. 10 (MNA) – Iranian documentary, ‘Advantage’ directed by Mohammad Kart has made it to the 60th edition Dok Leipzig, Germany’s International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film as Iran’s sole representative.

This will be the first international screening of ‘Advantage’ which is coproduced by Aban Askari and Mohammad Kart.

Alireza Shahrokhi from international media administration of Sima will be managing the international distribution of the documentary.

‘Advantage’ portrays the life of a few recovering homeless people who are struggling to improve their life conditions.

Founded in 1955, DOK Leipzig is the oldest documentary festival in the world. The International Leipzig Festival for Documentary and Animated Film is the largest German and one of the leading international festivals for artistic documentary and animated film as well as interactive storytelling.

The festival will run through Oct. 30 to Nov. 5, 2017.
