IRGC welcomes new defense minister

TEHRAN, Aug. 21 (MNA) – IRGC issued an announcement on Monday, congratulating the new Iranian defense minister on winning the parliament's confidence vote.

In a congratulatory message issued on Monday, the IRGC felicitated Brigadier General Amir Hatami on acquiring the position of Iran's Minister of Defence and Armed Forces' Logistics in the 12th administration and described his chair over the 'critical position' as a 'promising age of bolstering strategies'.

Dear Brother Brigadier General Amir Hatami

Greetings upon you;

The Islamic Revolution Guards Corps sincerely congratulates, with pleasure and delight, your success in winning the decisive vote of the parliament for the position of the Minister of Defence and Armed Forces Logistics.

Undoubtedly, your presence in this sensitive position, is in line with the efforts and endeavors of the former defense ministers and promises the bolstering of strategies and programs in the defence ministry for developing and enhancing the up-to-date growth of the defence industry of country and for providing a full-fedged and wise support of the Armed Forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran to deepen the imperatives of deterrence and defensive might of country, with emphasis on missile capability and support for the Islamic ressistance front to counter proxy wars and Takfirist terrorism in the region. With divine grace, the honorable nation of Iranians would see its realization in the missions conducted by the IRGC and the Army.
