"After the victory of the Islamic Revolution, many incidents happened to overshadow the issue of Palestine but the Quds Day is the starting point to be closest to the pains of the Muslims in the world,” said Iran's Secretary of Supreme National Security Council (SNSC) Rear Admiral Ali Shamkhani on Friday while attending the annual rallies in Tehran.
“There were many attempts to create fake problems for Muslims to make them forget the real problem of Palestine but the Quds Day gives the precise address to where should sympathies be directed, not to Riyadh conference or Qatar blockade, but to Quds Day,” asserted the Iranian senior official.
He described the people turnout in the rallies as unprecedented, widespread, and complimentary of the missile attack of last Sunday.
