According to the Danish Government in an official release, these special forces are stationed in Iraq and the main purpose of their transfer would be to directly support Iraqi troops on the Syrian border.
The document adds that the initiative already has support of most members of the Danish Parliament.
During the operation a frigate halling from Denmark will also be sent to the conflict area.
"I am pleased to see that we have that the special troops can contribute to solving the Iraqi problems and those of the coalition. It is quite important not to give a moment of peace to ISIL, that is why the Government is always trying to adapt its military contribution to the needs of the coalition, "Defense Minister Claus Hjort Frederiksen concluded.
