To conduct a series of diplomatic talks over the Syrian crisis and the latest developments in Aleppo, Hossein Jaberi Ansari, the Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister for Arab-African Affairs, left Tehran on Thursday for European cities of Geneva and Brussels where he is to exchange ideas with European and Syrian negotiators.
The decision was made after truces brokered to ceasefire in Aleppo, the center of the latest exchanges of fire, were violated and a bright conclusion of the crisis seems out of sight.
A pioneer in calling for fight with extremism, Iran, since the beginning of the crisis, has been advocating Syrian-Syrian talks and urging for global will to counter terrorists groups and militias in the war-torn Arab country.
