US, Zionist regime seek security crisis in region

TEHRAN, Oct. 05 (MNA) – Iran's Parliament Speaker Ali Larijani said the US and the Zionist regime seek to expand and flare up security crisis in the region insofar as it does not harm their interests.

Speaking during the Parliament open session on Wednesday, Larijani accused the US and Israeli regime of supporting terrorists against defenseless people of the regional countries.

Pointing to the recent Herzliya Conference held by Israeli regime, Larijani said, "an American senior figure had claimed the Zionist regime today is in the best security conditions, since other countries have been involved in security and terrorism in the region, however, the worst is when the terrorists are suppressed and Iran and Hezbollah manage to come out of it".

This evil thought shows, Larijani underlined, that the Americans and Israelis, against their false slogans, have no will to fight terrorism and seek a greater purpose behind their pervasive adventure in the region.

Larijani also expressed regret over the comments expressed during Herzliya Conference; "Israel is in best security conditions to be preserved; even if ISIL is suppressed, Israel should immediately establish deeper ties with al-Nusra Front," Larijani quoted an Israeli security figure.

"This shows very well the evil nature of the terrorists," Larijani said pointing to Leader's remarks against the US and Zionist regime as saying, "Iran and the US strategies in the region are in stark contrast."
