Iran, Brazil to hold human rights talks

TEHRAN, Oct. 03 (MNA) – Head of Iran's High Council for Human Rights Mohammad Javad Larijani flied to Brazil for human rights talks.

Leading a high-ranking delegation, Larijani began his visit to Brazil upon an official invitation of Brazilian side to hold justice and human rights talks.

The Legal Deputy of Iran's Judiciary Zabihollah Khodaian and the Deputy Secretary General of Iran’s High Council for Human Rights Kazem Gharib-Abadi accompany Javad Larijani in his visit to Brazil.

In September, Iranian human rights delegation, led by Javad Larijani, visited also Rome for a new round of talks on human rights between Iran and Italy. The two sides discussed issues such as the rights of the accused, women’s rights, children’s rights, and fairness in the judiciary system of Iran and Italy.
