Iranian Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare Mohammad Amin Sazgarnejad held talks over employment with Managing Director of European and International Cooperation Department in the Federal Ministry of Education and Research of Germany Volker Rieke in Tehran.
Speaking at the meeting, Iran’s Sazgarnejad pointed to long-standing relations between Iran and Germany on the issues of skills training and implementation of relevant joint projects with the World Bank stating “we are interested in sustaining and re-strengthening existing bilateral cooperation in areas of job skills education.”
Sazgarnejad, who heads the Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, called on Germany to assist Iran in job and education standards, professional competence as well as instructor training in the new era of relations between the two countries.”
The visiting Germen official, for his part, presented his comments regarding bilateral cooperation over job skills training and related research as well as education economy aiming to achieve sustainable progress.
During the session. the two sides exchanged views on and agreed upon educational collaborations between Iran and Germany.
It was also decided that a workshop will be held in the current year with the cooperation of both sides and with participation of all stakeholders in Iran’s public and non-governmental sectors in order to boost bilateral ties with a greater potential.
The contents to be delivered at the workshop will be prepared and reviewed by the two sides in advance of the occasion.
