Tehran, Beijing begin new talks over employment

TEHRAN, Aug. 03 (MNA) – Iranian deputy labor minister and China’s ambassador to Tehran held a fresh round of negotiations over employment.

Deployment of Iranian job seekers to China for apprenticeship as well as establishment of car service centers marked the main axis of the meeting which was held in the Iranian capital on Tuesday.

During the meeting with the Chinese Ambassador Pang Sen and his entourage, Iranian Deputy Minister of Cooperatives, Labor, and Social Welfare Mohamad Amin Sazgarnejad offered a comprehensive introduction to the Organization for Technical and Vocational Training outlining its activities and goals.

He also pointed to development of human resources skills in china and emphasized the need for cooperation and expansion of partnership with the Asian country.

Deputy labor minister also stressed the need for establishment of several specialized training centers for automobile services inside the country in cooperation with China adding “China remains a leading country in areas of virtual training and simulators which takes on added importance for Iran.”

Sazgarnejad, who heads the Organization for Technical and Vocational Training, went on to highlight that instructors at the Iranian organization could attend Chinese training courses to enhance their educational skills.

Trilateral cooperation for training of Afghan nationals from was yet another issue discussed at the meeting.

Ambassador of China to Iran Pang Sen, for his part, acknowledged and agreed to all words of his counterpart in the field of skill development and human resources in his country and stressed the necessity of cooperation with Iran in educational arenas.

Sen further enumerated a number of venues for cooperation between the two countries in training fields including visit of high-ranking officials within framework of long-term programs, mutual negotiations over skills training and human resource development courses, deployment of job seekers to China for apprenticeship and their return to Iran as well as empowerment of vocational training centers with the aim of optimizing their activities.
