Claims on Gen. Naghdi’s injury rejected

TEHRAN, Jul. 31 (MNA) – Claims made by an Israeli news agency that Brig. Gen. Naghdi has been injured in Syria were rejected.

Unlike the false claims, commander of Basij Paramilitary Force is in good health and attended his workplace on Sunday morning.

Following the release of some photos of Brigadier General Mohammadreza Naghdi’s visit to Quneitra situated in south-western Syria, Haaretz claimed that the Iranian general has survived assassination attempt by Israel or Syrian rebel.

Despite the claim that General Naghdi has been recently injured in the largely destroyed and abandoned capital of the Quneitra Governorate situated in a high valley in the Golan Heights at the ُSyrian border with occupied territories of Palestine, the visit is said to have been made a couple of months ago in March.

An informed source at Basij Paramilitary Force, while rejecting the false claims made by the Zionist news agency, stated that the Iranian commander is all right and made presence at his workplace today morning in Tehran.
