Wheelchair b-ballers defeat Taiwan

TEHRAN, Oct. 14 (MNA) – Iran's national wheelchair basketball players bagged their third win by defeating Taiwan as part of the Mitsubishi Electric 2015 International Wheelchair Basketball Federation (IWBF) Asia Oceania Championship.

Iranian wheelchair basketballers gained a victory against Taiwan 106-26 on Tuesday in Japan and will hold their last qualifier match against Saudi Arabia on Wednesday.

So far, Iran’s team has managed to achieve three victories by defeating Malaysia, Philippines and China while they lost to Australia.

Iran is competing with Australia, Saudi Arabia, Malaysia, Philippines and Taiwan in pool A while the teams present at pool B include Afghanistan, China, Japan, Korea, Thailand and the United Arab Emirates.

Hosted by Tokyo, Japan, 2015 Asia Pacific Championship has kicked off on October 10 and will come to an end on October 17.
