Pointing to the efforts made to invite Austrian printing and packaging representatives to accompany their country’s top-ranked delegation in visiting Iran, Gholamreza Shoja said that, “ultimately, a delegation was formed to discuss the possibilities of cooperation between the two countries in the field of supplying raw material for printing industry including paper and cellulose industry which met and talked with the Austrian side.”
“Some activists in the fields of paper and pulp production as well as in printing and packaging were attending this work group,” he added.
The managing director of Association of Tehran's Lithographers continued that, “according to the latest news from this joint meeting, a memorandum of understanding (MoU) worth 80 million dollars has been signed between the two sides; this MoU is completely in line with the government’s principal policy in attracting foreign investors to work on the infrastructures of industries.”
“It was also decided to attract foreign investment in the production of packaging boxes and labels industry in pharmaceuticals and medical areas,” concluded Shoja.
