Zarif, Steinmeier sit in 1-hour meeting

VIENNA, Jul. 10 (MNA) – Iran’s Javad Zarif and German Foreign Minister Frank-Walter Steinmeier have met in Vienna in a 1-hour session.

Mehr News correspondence group who is in Vienna in the negotiation venue, in its remarkably 189th report, said that a bilateral meeting between Iran’s foreign minister Zarif and his German counterpart had been held in Palais Coburg Friday, which lasted 1 hour.

Earliear in the day, Zarif had met his American counterpart Mr. John Kerry, where EU foreign policy chief Federica Mogherini also attended.

In a different but related story, Laurent Fabius of France reportedly has left the negotiation venue, only to return back to Vienna on Saturday. Mr. Fabius avoided reporters present in the venue through departing via a backdoor to Palais Coburg. Before Fabius, British foreign secretary Philip Hammond had also departed for London, but promised a return back on Saturday.
