The opening ceremony will be held Tuesday morning at the place of Imam Khomeini's Grand Mosalla.
The event will be attended by cultural ministers of Iraq, Bangladesh and Oman. Oman is the special guest of 28th TIBF and Omani Minister of Culture Abdul Munim bin Mansoor al-Hassani is expected to deliver a speech during the ceremony.
Tehran International Book Fair is annually held as a social and cultural phenomenon with book displays, panel discussions and publishing deals.
Although would be officially launched on 5th of May, the fair will be open to the public by 6th May and will continue for ten days.
