The inscriptions, some of which are over 500 years old, are part of the collection of the Dushanbe Museum.
The oldest work on display at the exhibit was inscribed in 1402 and consists of 43 ghazals written on the margin of a copy of the Divan of Hafez. According to the director of the institute, it contains one poem of Hafez not found in any other book.
