Iran-Belgium Sign MOU on Joint Cooperation

TEHRAN (MNA) –- The Islamic Republic of Iran and Belgium signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) here Sunday on joint cooperation toward technical and professional education of Afghan refugees in Iran.

Deputy Foreign Minister for Economics Affairs Seyyed Mohammad Hussein Adeli as chair of the International Headquarters for the Reconstruction of Afghanistan signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for technical and professional education of Afghan refugees in Iran with Belgian Ambassador to Tehran Jacques Vermoulin.

 

This project to help reconstruct Afghanistan will be carried out by a non-governmental organization (NGO) that supports Afghan families without bread winners.

 

The aim of the project is to attract international attention to humanitarian aid for Afghan refugees and to increase their self-sufficiency with technical and professional education in handicrafts, computers, and the English language.

 

This project will be implemented in Khorassan, Sistan and Baluchestan provinces.

 

The joint project will be launched between May-June of this year and January-February of next year.
