Israeli regime forces carried out aggressive raids across several areas of the occupied West Bank, coinciding with ongoing assaults by armed settlers against Palestinian civilians and property.
According to Palestinian sources, the raids sparked confrontations between occupation troops and Palestinian youth in multiple towns, leaving several injured by live and rubber bullets, as well as tear gas suffocation, Al Jazeera reported.
The Arab48 website reported that regime soldiers ransacked homes, beat residents, and conducted on-site interrogations. Several Palestinians were detained and taken to undisclosed locations.
Troops stormed the homes of dozens of prisoners expected to be freed in an upcoming exchange, threatening families against raising flags, taking photos, or organizing welcome gatherings.
In the town of Silwad, north of Ramallah, Israeli forces detained eight Palestinians, while in Beit Furik near Nablus, a 14-year-old boy, Mahmoud Shadi, was arrested.
In the village of Salem, east of Beit Furik, the brother of Palestinian detainee Anas Ishtiyeh was also seized. Several young Palestinians were wounded during clashes in Yatta, south of Hebron.
