TEHRAN, Dec. 03 (MNA) – The Iranian foreign minister pointed to the resumed Zionist regime's crimes in Gaza, saying that the spillover of the war in the region is "deeply foreseeable."

Sayyid Badr bin Hamad bin Hamood Albusaidi, he Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Sultanate of Oman arrived in Tehran and was received for a meeting, followed by a press conference by his Iranian counterpart Hossein Amir-Abdollahian on Sunday evening.

The two sides discussed the most important issues of mutual interest and the development of cooperation, important regional issues, including the deplorable conditions of the people of Gaza, the need for a ceasefire in that region and the sending of humanitarian aid.

Amir-Abdollahian noted that the US has to shoulder the responsibility for its hypocritical behavior in dealing with the Gaza crisis.

He said that there is documented evidence that the Zionist regime is seeking to forcibly displace people in the Gaza Strip.

"In a part of the documents that were seized by the Resistance forces during the Al-Aqsa Storm operation and in a part of the laptops that were captured by the Resistance forces, this hypothesis has been proven that the Israeli regime seeks to relocate all the residents of Gaza to a part of the territory and land of Egypt and to it seeks to transfer the residents of the West Bank to parts of Jordan," he noted.

Amir-Abdollahian added, "We hope that our brothers in Egypt will take immediate and serious action to reopen the Rafah border crossing and prevent this Israeli conspiracy against the territorial integrity of Jordan and Egypt."

The top Iranian diplomat further called for a holding to account the Zionist regime's rulers in an international tribunal.

He said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has never wanted the broadening of war and insecurity in the region, but warmongers in the region and criminals who seek genocide in Gaza and the West Bank have to be careful about the danger of a widened ae.

"Before it is too late, America must immediately stop supporting Israeli criminals," he further underscored.

The Omani foreign minister, for his part, noted that "the 20th meeting of the joint commission between the two countries is scheduled to be held in Tehran, and during the recent period, we have witnessed positive developments in bilateral cooperation on various issues, including trade, economy, tourism, etc."

He said, "We hope to witness a more prosperous future in the relations between the two countries. We are very optimistic that thanks to the guidelines of the leadership of the two countries, these cases will be followed up and we will witness the expansion of economic and commercial relations between the two countries.""

"In today's talks, we emphasized the continuation of the political and diplomatic efforts of the two countries and expressed our calls for the international community to shoulder its responsibilities in order to stop this war and restore security and peace to the region and that the cruel blockade of Gaza must be lifted and that humanitarian aid must reach the residents of Gaza and Palestine," Albusaidi said.

He said that in the Sultanate of Oman, they stress the importance of efforts to achieve peace and stability in the region, and accordingly, they seek to continue working closely with the Islamic Republic of Iran and other friendly and brotherly countries and regional parties to resolve this crisis, and tell the world that they should act as soon as possible to end the aggression of the Zionist regime.

"Security and stability in the region will not be achieved by any means except for the end of the occupation and the formation of an independent state of Palestine based on international law and rules," the Omani foreign minister said.
