“The hall, with a capacity of over 4000, is scheduled to be established in a cultural complex on Tehran’s Shariati Street,” Mohammad-Hossein Imani Khoshkhu added.
He pointed out that Tehran currently has no proper venue for concerts. However, holding artistic events in small halls is better than not holding them at all, he observed.
He also said that any decline in concerts in Iran over the past few years is not because the Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry did not allow an individual or band to perform live in public, but rather mismanagement by concert organizers has been the main problem.
