The International Conference on Supporting the Oppressed and Resistant Yemenis kicked off this morning in Tehran and has attracted dozens of intellectuals and civil rights activists from 35 countries, according to Iranian English-language television Press TV.
The event, which is still in progress until later today, highlights the sufferings of the Yemeni nation caused by a brutal Saudi-led war on the impoverished country.
In the conference, Iranian officials, including the IRGC Deputy Commander Brigadier General Hossein Salami and the Commander of Basij Organization Brigadier General Gheibpour as well as several representatives from resistance movements in the region are going to deliver speeches.
