“If we say no to US but yes to Europe, it is inconsistent with lessons learned from our experiences because the European Union has been nothing better than US in not being abiding by the agreement,” said Ayatollah Seyyed Ahmad Khatami, the interim leader of Tehran Friday Prayers.
“This issue had some lessons for us, including that we should not trust our enemies; because the one who does not have a touchstone or religion will not stay committed to their promises,” underlined the cleric.
“The enemies respect nothing and we should be more vigilant in the future because they are all the same,” asserted Ayatollah Khatami.
