Ali Larijani discussed Iran’s reaction to the US congress decision concerning JCPOA and stated “the supervisory council on executing JCPOA has deliberated over this issue and numerous scenarios have been taken into account. We have considered various possibilities as to what their decision will be and solutions thereof.”
“We have to predict their path. As we see the situation, if all parties to JCPOA remain committed to it, it is to the benefit of world and regional security. However, if they choose other methods, we will be ready,” he added.
The US Congress has had two months, finishing tomorrow, to decide whether or not to remain committed to the nuclear deal with Iran after the US president decertifying it.
