In his message forwarded on Monday, Iranian President Hassan Rouhani congratulated President Alassane Ouattara and the people of Côte d'Ivoire in West Africa as they celebrate the 57th anniversary of their independence on August 7.
President Rouhani stressed strong support for mutual efforts between the two sides for further development of relations in various fields and expansion of international cooperation.
He also prayed for the president’s continued health and success, as well as the nation’s felicity and prosperity.
Côte d'Ivoire celebrates national day on August 7 on the occasion of acquiring its independence from France in August 7, 1960.
