In a meeting with Zimbabwean Foreign Minister Simbarashe Simbanenduku Mumbengegwi, Zarif discussed bilateral and regional issues, including the establishment of a joint commission, the fight against terrorism and other issues.
Also, in Friday afternoon, Mohammad Javad Zarif met with Vice President of Ghana Mahamudu Bawumia and examined ways to expand bilateral relations, especially in the fields of industry, energy, banking and agriculture.
Ecuadorian Minister of Interior José Serrano was the next official meeting with Zarif in Tehran.
Simbanenduku Mumbengegwi, Mahamudu Bawumia and José Serrano arrived in Tehran on Friday to attend the inauguration of Hassan Rouhani as president.
