Iran, Germany, Switzerland to form trade chamber

TEHRAN, Jul. 04 (MNA) – An official said a joint chamber of commerce will be established between Iran, Germany and Switzerland by the end of the current Iranian year (began March 21).

Hassan Hosseini, Deputy Head of Razavi Khorasan Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mine and Agriculture, said the joint chamber between the three countries will be formed with the Iranian province at the center.

He said creation of new joint chambers would contribute to further development of trade relations of Razavi Khorasan Province and getting the manufacturers and exporters familiar with new markets as well as introducing Iranian goods to foreign markets.

The official described implementation of the Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA) as the most significant achievement of the incumbent government in the foreign trade sector.

Hosseini went on to underlined that, prior to the JCPOA, Iran lacked appropriate ties with other countries, while following the deal, many halted trade transactions were resumed. “Even though huge obstacles still exist on the way of foreign trade, the path of dialogue with foreign parties is now smooth and is being expanded.

Later, he enumerated other positive outcomes of the JCPOA in various fields like economy, industry, job creation, banking and tax systems, social security system as well as bureaucracy.
