Mohajer M2 in Beit-ul-Muqaddas 28 military drill

TEHRAN, May 23 (MNA) – Second day of Beit-ul-Muqaddas 28 military drill was held today by Iranian Army’s Ground Forces in Maranjab desert of central Iran by test-firing several rockets and missiles.

An upgraded version of Mohajer (Migrant), one of Iran’s homegrown Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs), is present in today's drill acting as an imaginary enemy, Commander of the Iranian Ground Force’s Vali-e Asr Drone Group Colonel Reza Khaki told reporters.

Mohajer M2, he said, has been equipped with a range of modern apparatus and systems that is used for diverse operations.

He added that the drone identifies all regions capturing photos and sending them to the chain of command.

"A full team of flight, with drones and utilizing equipment including launchers, Ground Station, drone carriers are present in the event," he added.

"The new drone can be employed for a range of military and civil operations, including aerial reconnaissance and patrol missions, traffic control, rescue and relief, cartography and oil pollution control at the sea," Khaki noted.
