Interior min. urges Iranians’ full participation in elections

TEHRAN, Feb. 26 (MNA) – Iran’s interior minister urged all Iranians to cast their votes on early hours of the elections.

Announcing officially the beginning of the 10th Parliamentary elections and the 5th elections of Assembly of Experts in Iran, Interior Minister Abdolreza Rahmnai Fazli called for full participation of Iranian nation in elections.

Appreciating the efforts by all executive and administrative bodies of the government for holding the elections Rahmani Fazli said “voting is a right and we have to protect the right today by providing a tranquil and precise election.”

“I hope all Iranians feel responsibility to show up and form a magnificent and healthy election today,” he added and underlined “voting will continue for 10 hours however extensions are possible.”
