Iran has to reach new horizons in space technology: Rouhani

TEHRAN, Jan. 30 (MNA) – President Rouhani said Iran should get new prospects in space technology as it did in the fields of information, nanotechnology and biotechnological activities.

Speaking in a gathering on improving administrative structures instructed by Iran’s Leader Ayatollah Khamenei, President Rouhani stressed on executing the structures in all governmental organizations to serve the nation in a more proper way and give the priority to Presidential Department of the government.

Rohani, meanwhile, emphasized the necessity of advancing in field of space technologies and urged the reinforcing of expert institutes of the field.

He said: “Iran needs to get new prospects in space technology as it did in the fields of information, nanotechnology and biotechnological activities by using country’ best talents and capabilities.”

President Rouhani also stressed the need to restructure Iranian Space Agency (ISA) in line with the government’s policy to promote the knowledge-based economy.
