European petrochemical companies on route to Iran

TEHRAN, April 26 (MNA) – European petrochemical companies will come to Tehran to attend the International Petrochemical Conference and negotiate with the Iranian petrochemical companies.

By sanctions eased during the recent months, Western European countries had resumed import of more petrochemical products from Iran.

Italy, Spain and Greece are among the countries that imported Iran’s petrochemical products recently.

Easing sanctions also resulted in expansion of imports of petrochemical products from Iran to Asian customers. Before, Iran would export petrochemical products to the European countries via intermediaries.

Geneva deal of November 2013 allowed the ease of sanctions on Iran’s export of petrochemical products.
