“Badgir Edifice” of Golestan Palace to Open

TEHRAN April 16 (MNA) –- The “Bad-gir Edifice” of Golestan Palace, a historical work from the Qajar era, is to re-open during the Week of Cultural Heritage, from May 18-May 24.

The building, decorated with art mirrors dating back to the era of Fat’hali Shah of the Qajar Era, was severely damaged during the Iran-Iraq-Imposed War, and has been closed since 1989.     

 

An exhibition of works by Mirza Mahmud-Khan Saba, Kamal al-Mulk, photos by Fars Valian of old Tehran and the historical photos of Ta’zieh (passion plays) will also be held at the Golestan Palace historical complex.

 

The weapons of King Fat’hali and several old manuscripts are among the exhibits to be displayed at Golestan Palace.
