The book, illustrated by Rashin Kheyrieh, is a combination of folk songs and children’s games.
“From the many examples submitted, the jury appreciated
“The visual universe we all share here is made up of new and old. There are references to ancient works and age-old canons but also to 20th century graphic art. This interaction of cultures not only yields a delightful visual experience but also shows us a world in which no source of inspiration is rejected whatever its origin,” the jury mentioned about the book.
The Bologna Children’s Book Fair is the most important international event dedicated to the children’s publishing and multimedia industry.
