Iran’s September oil sales hit two-year high

TEHRAN, Sep. 19 (MNA) – While foreign media have reported uncertainty over Iran’s oil sales due to sanctions, local Iranian media have reported Iran’s oil sales in September reached their highest monthly level in two years.

According to the latest figures, Iran’s oil sales exceeded $3 billion in September, marking the highest monthly level in the past two years, a report by Iran’s Plan and Budget Organisation said.

The figures showed that oil sales have reached a two-year high despite the US naval blockade aimed at preventing Iranian exports.

Oil sales exceeded $3bn in September, the highest monthly figure in two years.
