Aliyev stresses strengthening Iran-Azerbaijan friendship

In his congratulatory message on the arrival of Nowruz, President of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev expressed his hope to President of the Islamic Republic of Iran Masoud Pezeshkian that “I hope that this auspicious holiday, which promises the splendor of spring, embodies love for nature, and symbolizes the purity of the soul and rebirth, will bring prosperity, happiness, and blessings to the peoples of Iran and Azerbaijan.”
Aliyev also emphasized in his message that, “In line with the interests of the two nations, which are bound together by history, religious-cultural roots, and common spiritual values, joint efforts will be made to strengthen the relations of friendship and cooperation between the Republic of Azerbaijan and the Islamic Republic of Iran.”
