Iran Judiciary chief hands over terrorists evidence to Iraq

TEHRAN, Feb. 15 (MNA) – The head of the Iranian Judiciary said he handed over the evidence and documents on terrorists and terrorist groups to related Iraqi officials.

In a meeting with Iraq's National Security Advisor Qasim al-Araji in Baghdad on Thursday, the head of the Iranian Judiciary Gholamhossein Mohseni-Ejei said that the Islamic Republic of Iran has already handed over to the Iraqi judicial officials including Chief Justice of the Supreme Judicial Council of Iraq, Faiq Zaidan its evidence and documents on the terrorists and terrorist groups. 

"We hope that with the cooperation and sympathy that exists between us, we will be able to sue all the terrorists," Ejei said in the meeting.

"On the cases, that Iran was supposed to give evidence on the terrorists, those documents have already been prepared and Iran has sent a large part of them and the evidence have already been handed over to the Judicial colleagues here in Iraq. We gave a copy to Mr. Faiq Zaidan. You will also be informed."

"We will prepare and hand over every other document and evidence if needs be," the Iranian Judiciary chief further promised.

He went on to voice hope that a "good confrontation" would take place between Iran and Iraq so that no terrorist action would happen both in Iraq and Iran.
