Ejei made the remarks in a meeting with the Prime Minister of Iraq Mohammed Shia' Al Sudani in Baghdad on Wednesday.
During the meeting, the two Iranian and Iraqi officials discussed bilateral relations between the two countries and the regional developments.
Referring to the Israeli regime's war against the Gaza Strip, Ejei stressed the need for the Islamic countries to increase political pressure against Tel Aviv in order to stop the killing of Gazans.
The entire Muslim world must stand up against the Zionist war machine, he emphasized.
Elsewhere in his remarks, he referred to the favorable relations between Tehran and Baghdad, adding, "The Islamic Republic of Iran wants to strengthen and develop relations with Iraq in all fields and will welcome any initiative to increase the level of relations between the two sides."
He also emphasized the necessity of fully implementing the security agreements between Iran and Iraq and comprehensively confronting the terrorists who have been assigned by the enemies to threaten the security of the two countries.
The Iraqi prime minister, for his part, said that Iraq considers Iran's security as its own security.
"We will not allow an action to be taken against Iran's security from inside Iraq," Sudani said.
He also emphasized the necessity of increasing the coordination between the two countries of Iran and Iraq and other countries that support Palestine in regional and international forums.
