"Iran, the land of cultural coexistence for centuries, stands as a testament to peaceful cohabitation of diverse ethnicities alongside each other, recalling the accepted principle in the Constitution,” the representatives said in a letter addressed to Esmaili on Monday.
“For years, the peaceful life of different religions and ethnicities has transformed into a model of coexistence in the world. As we progress, the rings of national and Islamic unity and coherence become stronger and more robust,” they added.
The lawmakers further expressed hope that the Islamic world could overcome the obstacles and barriers created by the global arrogance to sow discord among Islamic countries.
