Who is "Hassan Aslih", Gaza field reporter, Israel nightmare?

Who is "Hassan Aslih", Gaza field reporter, Israel nightmare?

TEHRAN, Nov. 12 (MNA) – At the same time as military terrorism, the Zionist regime has committed media terrorism and has targeted reporters like "Hasan Aslih". The issue shows fear of the Israeli regime from pens and cameras in parallel with guns.

Since Israel unleashed the war against Gaza, it has embarked on an incessant bombardment of the Strip, with the Gaza-based health ministry saying that 11,078 people, including 4,506 children, have been killed, and 27,490 others have sustained injuries.

The Tel Aviv regime has also blocked access to water, food, and electricity in Gaza, plunging the coastal area into a humanitarian crisis.

During this period, international media reports indicated that since the beginning of the conflict, dozens of journalists have been killed and the offices of international media covering the current developments have been destroyed.

Today, we are witnessing the peak of the Zionist regime's confrontation with the media and the confrontation with the broadcasting of the events of Gaza to the far corners of the world in these weeks.

This issue can be interpreted within the framework of the regime's tradition, which has always been going on with intensity and weakness at different times.

An example of the regime's attempt to silence the media was the development of the 73rd anniversary of the formation of the regime or the Nakba Day.

At that time, the regime attacked the al-Jalaa Building, housing foreign journalists, on 15 May 2021 in Gaza City.

The Israeli regime tried to silence the media by targeting the news offices of international media that covered the news of Gaza and prevented the publication of news related to the crimes.

The media offices of international news sources, including Al Jazeera, Associated Press, and AFP, were located in the al-Jalaa Building, which covered news about Gaza.

During the recent attacks of the Zionists on Gaza, the "Hajji Tower" where the members of the media were stationed was targeted. In this Zionist air attack, a number of media members were martyred and injured.

In 2022, the Zionist regime shot the  Al-Jazeera correspondent Shirin Abu Aqleh in the head with a direct bullet and killed her.

In 2022, the Zionists martyred Palestinian journalist Ghufran Haroun. In 2018, "Ahmed Abu Hossein"  was shot dead in the Jabalia camp.

In 2014 an Italian journalist was martyred in the bombing of the Gaza Strip.

According to the statistics of the Palestinian Ministry of Information, from the second Palestinian intifada in 2000 to May of last year, 45 journalists were martyred by the Zionist regime.

Hassan Aslih, a journalist hated by Zionists

Although the Zionists generally target the building hosting the journalists, they pay special attention to active journalists, such as Hasan Aslih, who tirelessly cover the events of Gaza and reflect them on social media platforms.

Aslih, who follows up on the events in the Gaza Strip every day, is a Palestinian journalist and a photography lover. He became famous in 2009 when he made a serious effort to reflect on local and international events and news. Having 500,000 followers, mostly Gaza residents, Aslih publishes footage of Palestine developments on his Instagram page. He also publishes up-to-date news stories on X social media platform, formerly known as Twitter.

Recently, the Israeli regime has been focusing on eliminating him, just like other journalists. The Zionists have been trying to make a photo of Aslih and Hamas Gaza chief Yehya al-Sinwar go viral on social media.

Finding out about this Zionist project, he, on his Telegram channel, talked about a major provocation campaign in the Zionist media.

Considering the possibility of his assassination, he held the relevant authorities responsible and stressed that they should be careful of targeting press groups and local news agencies active in the Gaza Strip.

CNN officials have recently announced that their cooperation with Aslih was stopped. The issue is reminiscent of the mass dismissal of media activists by mainstream media such as the BBC. In the last few weeks, this British news outlet has suspended cooperation with 16 journalists on charges of supporting the innocent people of Palestine.
