Hezbollah attacks Zionists' base on Lebanon border

TEHRAN, Oct. 30 (MNA) – The Lebanese Resistance movement Hezbollah has attacked the base of the Zionist regime's forces on the Lebanon border.

Hezbollah news service Al-Manar TV correspondent in south Lebanon reported that Israeli artillery shelled eastern outskirts of Lebanese border town of Blida Israeli media said mortar shells were fired from Lebanon at Israeli posts in Upper Galilee.

Hezbollah on Monday announced that it has targeted the technical and espionage equipment belonging to the Israeli regime's military.

Several Zionist forces were injured following Hezbollah's operation, the Hezbollah statement added.

On Sunday night, Hezbollah said it had shot down a Zionist drone over southern Lebanon with a surface-to-air missile.

The Israeli regime's military confirmed the Hezbollah attacks, saying that Hezbollah fighters in southern Lebanon opened fire at an army position on the northern border earlier.

The regime military also claimed that no soldiers were hurt in the attack.

In response, the regime military said that troops shelled the source of the gunfire with artillery, and struck a Hezbollah site.

The Zionist military and Hezbollah in Lebanon have been exchanging fire on a daily basis since the start of the Gaza conflict three weeks ago.

The Israeli regime has been attacking Gaza in the wake of Operation Al-Aqsa Storm by the Palestinian Resistance movement Hamas on October 7, which was in response to decades-long violence against Palestinians and recurrent incursions into al-Aqsa Mosque.

The death toll since the start of the Israeli regime's carnage on October 7 has surpassed 8,000 with upwards of 20,500 Palestinians wounded.

Despite the unconscionable toll, on the 23rd day of the war on Gaza, the Israeli regime declared that the war had “entered a new phase.” On Friday, the Zionist forces intensified air, sea, and ground attacks on the Gaza Strip.

Numerous international aid agencies confirmed they lost contact with staff in Gaza after Tel Aviv knocked out internet and communications in the occupied territory.

The UN General Assembly has called for an immediate humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. 120 states voted for the resolution, but the Zionists rejected the call.
