In separate phone calls, Hossein Amir-Abdollahian discussed the latest political developments in Palestine and the savage attack of the Zionist regime on the Gaza Strip with Ismail Haniyeh, head of the Political Bureau of the Palestinian movement Hamas, and Ziad Al-Nakhalah, the Secretary General of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad Movement.
In these calls, the Iranian foreign minister informed the leaders of the Islamic Resistance of Palestine about the latest Iran diplomatic actions in the international fields in support of the Palestinian people.
He emphasized the urgent need to stop the crimes of the Zionist regime in the killing of Palestinian citizens, women, and children, opening the Rafah crossing, sending humanitarian aid to the people of Gaza, and dealing with the forced displacement of the residents of Gaza.
Ismail Haniyeh, for his part, explained the latest situation in Gaza in the shadow of the ongoing crimes and killing of civilians by the Zionist regime.
The political leader of Hamas considered the unwavering support of the US to the Zionist regime as the main reason for the continuation of the crimes of this neo-Nazi regime, adding that the brutal and blind attacks of the Zionists against the defenseless people and citizens in Gaza show the inability of this regime to deal with the courageous struggle of Resistance and the Palestinian people against the occupation.
After its great strategic blow to the enemy, the Resistance still has the upper hand in the battle with a firm will against the occupiers despite the brutality of the Zionist enemy.
The Hamas official considered the lack of medicine, fuel, and the failure of the hospitals' electricity generators as a prelude to the occurrence of a huge humanitarian catastrophe in Gaza.
Haniyeh noted that the Resistance forces were able to create a new strategic balance in the region with the Al-Aqsa Storm operation.
The Secretary General of the Islamic Jihad in Palestine, for his part, said that despite the killing of women, children, and the elderly by the Zionist regime and the destruction of residential houses and attacks on civilian targets, the Resistance fighters morale is very high, adding that they will continue to confront the massive aggression of the Zionist regime with might.
Ziad Nakhale added that international solidarity with Palestine is an important issue that is growing bigger on a daily basis and Iran plays salient role in that regard.
